Solar PV and thermal systems analysts Garrad Hassan has recently expanded its activities to cover technical consultancy on solar PV and solar thermal systems.
To support these activities, GH is seeking experts in solar PV and thermal energy analysis. Duties and requirements for
the post are described below.
Responsibilities:
• PV and solar thermal energy assessment and technology review
• Technical support in marketing, proposals and contract review
• Site inspections and assessment of solar plant performance tests
• Technical review of permits
• Feasibility studies
Requirements:
• Relevant degree in engineering or physics
• A minimum of 2 years working experience in the PV or
solar thermal business (grid-connected plants)
• Use of standard and advanced tools for PV or solar thermal
energy yield assessment
• Familiarity with PV technology and its supply chain
• Electrical system background
• Familiarity with Due Diligence work
• Experience in PV plant construction
• Technical background or working experience in solar thermal
energy an advantage
• Fluency in English and Spanish both spoken and written
• Other languages an advantage
