We are looking for an

Photovoltaic Marketing Manager

for HBS SOLAR

The Photovoltaic Marketing Manager (PMM) will be responsible for developing the photovoltaic product line business plan for Europe (Priority 1), North America (Priority 2) and Asia Pacific (Priority 3) aimed at growing and sustaining lead market share position. More specially the PMM will identify new markets, key customer requirements and potential revenue so as to create a plan to execute on growth targets and implement upon receipt of approval. The candidate will work together closely with R&B, Process Engineering, supply chain and Sales to manage the development and introduction of the products and processes to be developed.

Specific Requirements:
• Experience in the Photovoltaic cell and module market, as well 
  as in marketing
• Technical graduate degree, MBA or similar favored
• Proven track record in building consensus, working in 
  multinational teams and multinational locations
• Ability to develop strong business and partnership relationships
• Competency in analysing markets, industry and competitor trends
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills in English
• Good verbal communications skills in Spanish, French and/or 
  German favored
• Superior presentation skills with the ability to hold the interest of 
  a technical, as well as non-technical audience
• Used to work in structured and sustaining processes
• Determined and self-motivated work character with a strong 
  will to implement project results to become commercially sucessful
• Up to 30% international/national travel should be expected
• Location: Barcelona, Spain

Solar Engineer Solar Thermal Technology and
Solar Engineer Photovoltaic Technology


We like to expand our product range, therefore we are searching for our new business field »Solar« Project Engineers located in our office in Barcelona. The candidates will be responsible for the planning and coordinating the delivery of designed technical projects. The Project Engineers also will establish best practices and procedures for these projects. The Project Engineers will facilitate training courses and maintain a laboratory and may be required to assist on-site installation.

Primary job responsibilities include:
• In this full-time position
• Deliver designs and drawings for a variety of solar projects such 
  as residential and commercial scale
• Multidisciplinary engineering design of solar module 
  mounting systems
• Create construction plan sets for building integrated, rooftop 
  mounted Solar systems
• you will actively work on innovative solutions as well as on the 
  standardization of customized solutions
• Analyse application alternatives and provide recommendations on design improvements
• Document and improve design processes
• Finding special solutions of system components adapted to the 
  regional markets
• You will support the regional team in special projects, ranging 
  from consulting to supportive project management qualifications:
• Self-motivated and committed to excellence
• you have completed a degree in physics, mechanical, environmental 
  or process engineering, energy or facility management or a similar 
  discipline, with a focus on renewable energies being an advantage, 
  or comparable trade education (skilled technician)
• Special knowledge in the field of solar thermal orheating engineering 
  are the requirements for that job
• Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with clients of 
  all disciplines
• Excellent language skills English and intercultural professional 
  experience, desire to travel
• Knowledge of, or desire to learn, solar system design In addition, 
  preferred candidates will have:
• Practical, hands-on experience in a construction related field
• Familiarity with solar system installation
• Civil or structural engineering experience
• Knowledge of German is not essential but advantageous
• You must have a desire to bring a growing company to the front of the 
  market and wish to develop yourself further within the company
