REC Wafer R&D are looking for inspired technologists within high temperature processing and material science.

REC Wafer aims to expand as a leading supplier of silicon wafers for the solar industry and supply wafers with market leading quality at competitive cost. To achieve this, we are dedicated to actively develop technology for the future.

REC Wafer R&D currently comprises about sixty highly skilled scientists, engineers and technicians, and in 2009 we moved into new state of the art facilities in Porsgrunn, on the coast of Southern Norway, located next to the Herøya wafer plants. There is also a R&D department in Singapore.
