Multi-megawatt systems in Asia-Pacific

February, 2010: PV power plant completed in West Bengal: Indian module manufacturer and project planner Titan Energy Systems Ltd. has completed a 1 MW system in Jamuria, India.

Titan developed the power plant using its own modules, which are made of monocrystalline cells from US manufacturer Suniva Inc. The investor, state electricity supplier West Bengal Energy Development Corp., plans to expand the PV park to 2 MW. Installation took 5 months and was overseen by Beck Energy GmbH.
