New addition: With Hartmut Schüning, Q-Cells' board increases to four members.

After the Thalheim-based company's appointment of Thomas Schmidt as head of production, supply, and quality management in April, as of October, Hartmut Schüning is responsible for human resources, finance, information technology, and corporate right issues. The 45-year-old Schüning worked in similar positions at pen manufacturer Edding and finance service company Tecis Finanzdienstleistungen AG.

With the two new board additions, Q-Cells board increases to four persons. The two other members are company founders Reiner Lemoine, who is responsible for technology development, and Anton Milner, who is in charge of marketing, wafer supply, and company development.
